Greetings golfers,

Firstly I would like to congratulate Don Enstrong on his hole in one on the 18th hole in the scratch am last Sunday. Not just having a hole in one his team won the event with: Kev Hurley, Ben Gray and Gary Britton. They started on the 10th and just after Don's ace Ben holed his second shot on the first leading them to victory.

These are great for raising funds for the scratch team. We wish them the best of luck in their first scratch match on Saturday against West Herts!

Spring has sprung and it's a great time to have a refresher lesson. This will get your game in great shape for the golfing season ahead.

With Charlie we had to work on posture. As you can see in his first picture his posture is poor. But after just a couple of shots we got to the position that he is in the second picture. As an 8 handicapper I'm sure this minor adjustment will help him get that handicap down. Good luck Charlie and welcome to the club

With Margaret we were working on a better position at the top of her back swing. As you can see in the first imagine she was very high in the top position. In the after photo you can see she is swinging it a lot better in a great top position. Looking forward to seeing that handicap tumble.

Ginny Claims Her Prize

Ginny left our shop grinning with delight as she collected her custom fit ping fairway wood. Ginny won our first prize in our Masters sweepstake draw with green jacket winner Jordan Spieth. Well done ginny!

Last week we had 5 generations of the Luckhurst family up for golf. It's great to see this at Harpenden Common golf club.
