Last week we had the Texas Scramble when it was actually snowing. Well done to all competitors for completing the round as the weather was not very kind to us. Here's me giving a lesson to Duncan Craddock in the snow, dedication!

The results of the Texas Scramble were as follows:

Winners with at nett 63 were: Phil Grayer, Jean Davies, Luke Terry and George Willsher (pictured here)

In second place losing on countback with a nett 63 were: Lawson Elliott, Don Engstrom, Bernie Young and Rob Murphy

In third place with a nett 64 were Keith Bratt, Nick Downing, Mark Willett and Pat Eames.

I would like to take this oppurtunity to congratulate the winners and thank everyone that took part.

I would really like to grow my business and as we are on common land I am really restricted to build anything at the golf club. So I am looking to lease an industrial unit and turn it into an indoor golf studio. Initially it will be just golf with a projector screen so you can play all different golf courses. This will be available for lessons, practice and game situations. Then if all goes well I will have an extension of the shop in there and a bar/restaurant. The cost would be approximately £40 per hour with a maximum of 4 people in one bay. I would like it to be based in Harpenden.

Would you be interested in using this facility? If you could give me any good or bad feedback I would really appreciate it.

Please click here to let me know your thoughts.

Enjoy the rest of the newsletter and have a great weekend.
