Coaching news

Lessons

We would like to ensure you that lessons will not be affected by the current virus outbreak. We will just follow stricter rules which we will outline bellow, but we don’t want to stop lessons at all as this shouldn’t get in the way of your performance.

Avoid all body contact, staying 6 foot away from each other during lessons.
Washing hands before and after the lesson as well as carrying antibacterial gel.
If you have any systems of the virus or any worries we ask if you could rearrange the lesson and let us know as soon as possible as we don’t want to take any chances.
We hope all these can be followed and lessons will carry on as normal with these minor changes!

Mark Laskey

If you haven’t already then book a screening with Mark. During this screening Mark will look at your golfing ability and physical ability/limitations. He will then look at what he can help to improve that will have the best impact on your game.

If you are looking for a relief from all the current news then The Tour Shed is the perfect place to do so. You can get into The Tour Shed for 30 mins, 1 hours or longer and enjoy the freedom of playing golf in your own private space.

We wipe down all sides in The shed and do our best to ensure the virus won’t spread in The Tour Shed and consider it as a very safe place to be. Simulation and practice sessions are perfect to continue your golf without having to be outside for too long, enjoy the private space and enjoy your golf!

Custom Fittings

Louis’s custom fitting sessions are still running, and he is really enjoying fitting people with all these new clubs. He has found his sessions to be very popular with lots of fantastic results.

He is fitting people looking at a few different brands including Callaway, Ping, TaylorMade and Titleist. He offers a fantastic service during the custom fitting and takes all factors into account when fitting you. We have had a delivery of some much-anticipated Titleist Aussie Hats. These hats are an oversized bucket hat which features tightening strings and unbailable protections from the sun. They are £39.99 and worth every penny.

New Under Armour Clothing

We have had a new delivery of Under Armour Clothing where all of the clothing looks great. We have had some very nice new polos and jackets delivered as pictured bellow. The polos start at £35 and the jumpers starts at £55. There are lots of funky colours now available so make sure you pop into the shop to have a look!

TaylorMade Truss Putter

This brand-new putter range from TaylorMade features a very different head design to most putters. This is all down to its larger than normal neck. If you look at the pictures bellow you will see this feature and why it looks so strange.

The whole points of this design is to add stability to the head. What this truss design does is enable the traditional blade putter to become a face balanced putter which has always been a mid-toe hang design. This helps anyone who really likes the look of a traditional blade but can’t use it due to needing a face balanced head. This truss blade solves that problem!

Sociable sessions

Playing golf with your friends is one of the best things about this sport but, if you’re tired of playing long strokeplay rounds in your fourball, why not try some of the fun formats below the next time you find yourself going out in a four?

4BBB

This game is a lot of fun and sees both team members play their own ball, with the lowest score counting at each hole. In a fourball betterball match, players receive 90% of the difference from the player with the lowest handicap.

Greensomes

Both partners tee off on each hole. You then choose the best drive and play alternate shots for the rest of the hole. Your greensomes handicap should be 60% of the lower partner’s handicap added to 40% of the higher partner’s.

Gruesomes

This is a great way to find out who your true friends are as the format is the same as Greensomes only your opposition decide which drive you play from. Although don't blame us if you all end up falling out over it.
