Louis' pick of the week - New M1 2018 Motocaddy Electric Trolley The new 2018 M1 Trolley has had a lot to live up to after the very successful first M1 Trolley. Now it has been released it has certainly lived up to expectations. This is down to its slick modern look, new compact design and new full colour LCD display screen. The new slick modern compact design to this new M1 makes it the world’s simplest folding compact trolley. This is down to the two-move folding mechanism that makes the trolley extremely easy to fold up and down before and after your rounds of golf. Once the trolley is folded up it is 11% smaller compared to its nearest competitor says Motocaddy which is very impressive especially when the previous M1 trolley already folded up a lot smaller than any other trolley anyway. Due to the new design it is even more car boot friendly than the previous generation and can even fit into some lockers! With its new display screen, it is easy to see what speed out of the 9 speed settings you are on. Plus, the screen shows the battery meter clearly showing you just how much battery life you have left. Now, the new battery design is one of the reasons the new M1 can be so much smaller, the super-lite Lithium Battery is 33% smaller than the previous one, it really is tiny. This new battery design allows you to charge the battery without having to take it out the trolley. You can plug the battery in to charge while leaving it folded up into the trolley, how cool is that! One of the main changes to the trolley which can make the trolley a lot smaller is the inverting wheels. Due to the new wheel design, when folding up the trolley you need to take the wheels off and invert them to make the trolley even smaller. This is what allows the trolley to fold up so small while having all these new features. Also like all new Motocaddy products it features the Easilock bag system. This works in conjunction with the Motocaddy cart bags where the base of the bags locks into the base of the trolley without needing the bottom straps. This secures the bag in place better and you don’t have to strap the bag in. The M1 trolley comes in either black or the alpine white finish which are both classic Motocaddy finishes. The Standard Lithium costs only £499.99 and the Extended 36 hole Lithium is only £549.99.
