Sean's wedding

Congratulations to Head Greenkeeper, Sean Brocklehurst, on tying the knot with his now wife, Laura.

It was a fantastic day and everyone had a great time. They are off on honeymoon now so I hope they are both having a great time.

Scratch Match vs Bishop Stortford

This week we had a very important match for the scratch team against Bishops Stortford which was a must win match for the team to comfortably stay in the top division, after the morning foursomes it was 2-2 so all to play for in the singles in which harpenden won 6/8 games to win overall on 8-4!

Club championship Draw

This year’s Club Championship is set to be highly contested the draw has now been released below!

Quad evening success!

Last Friday we hosted a FREE evening where we invited members down as we presented our new QUAD. We will arrange another session as it was great to enlighten members to the services we can provide, including yardage gapping, custom fitting, swing analysis, stat analysis and much more.

Junior news

Summer Camp

George Littlejohn is hosting a junior Summer Camp for juniors aged between 5-11 and will be full of fun packed golfing activities. The dates are as follows, but they are filling up fast so book now to avoid disappointment.

The camps run on Tuesdays and Wednesdays on the following dates:

- 8th August 10-3pm
- 9th August 10-3pm
- 15th August 10-3pm
- 16th August 10-3pm
- 22nd August 10-3pm
- 23rd August 10-3pm

Junior Open

On Thursday 10th August, Harpenden Common will be hosting our Junior Open with over £500 worth of prizes to be won.

It is open to any junior, girl or boy, with a handicap, but spaces are limited. So if you know of any junior golfer who'll like to play, make sure they don't miss out on this fantastic event.
