Herts County Colts Results
On Saturday the 24th June, the Herts County Colts Championship was help at Old Golf Manor Golf Club, the Colts is a scratch 36 hole Medal competition for everyone under the age of 25 in Hertfordshire with a low handicap. Harpenden Common had Josh Emerton, Louis Hindle, Dean & Ryan Hodges and Harry Topping representing the club with some good results and 2 top 10's coming from Ryan Hodges who finished 8th and Louis Hindle who finished 10th.
Matt, our shop manager, also had 2 really good results of +3 and +2, finishing 6th overall and getting his handicap cut down to 4 meaning he will now be doing his Playing Ability Test to qualify for the PGA, on route to become a fully qualified Professional, allowing him to offer lessons and custom fittings to all members!
Captain/Pro
This week's Captain/Pro was held against Willie Watson and Nick Cain who had been in good form recently.
This showed when the Captain (Kevin) and Pro (Rob) were 4 down after 9 holes, they managed to pull it back to a loss off only 2 holes on the 17th.

Neil Mckie 100 Holes For Charity!
A big congratulations goes out to Neil Mckie who last week achieved the 100 hole challenge during one of the hottest days of the year so far, raising £1000 for McMullen Cancer Research!

The New Align
