Well done to all the competitors there were some fantastic scores. In division 1 James Holland playing off 10 shot a level par, as you heard last week James has had a few lessons over the winter and it is certainly paying off now with a fantastic level par nett 60. Keep up the good play James, especially now playing off 6, one for the scratch team this year.
Big congratulations to Louis Hindle, past Junior Captain, breaking par for the first time at Harpenden Common, a great 68. And of course, Scratch Team Captain Alex Turner coming back to form with a level par 70 gross.
Division 2 winner Richard Strickland was delighted as he thought he would treat himself to a dozen Pro V1's with his winnings.
He was even more delighted when I pointed out the great deal at the moment we are running with the Pro V1's - buy 3 dozen personalised Pro V1 or V1Xs and get one FREE with personalisation.

2 Hole in Ones!
Well done to Martyn Lewis who had a hole in one on Monday at the 5th hole using a driver. He said:
"It was March 1966 the last time I had a hole in one in Penarth at Glamorganshire Golf Club, hopefully it won't be another 51 years till my next one."
Well done Martyn and thank you for the drink!
Also a well done goes to Alex Williams who had a hole in one on the 18th on Sunday. He hit a nice draw with his 7 iron.
Well done to both of you.
Last week Josh Emerton and Matt Binstead participated in a custom fit course in Surrey. This course was taken by Foresight Golf and was talking about the new launch monitor. Both Matt and Josh enjoyed the day and said:
"It was great to learn more about how the launch monitor measures the ball, and some great advice to pass onto our customers."
This course has increased their knowledge of fitting and gapping test. If you are interested in either please click here for more information.
Battery Trade In
With summer just starting, the golfing season is picking up rapidly and nothing could spoil golf more at this time of year other than a failed trolley battery and having to push your heavy equipment around the remaining holes in the heat.
In the shop we are giving everyone the opportunity to avoid this with our lithium battery offer! Receive £25 OFF of a brand new Motocaddy battery when trading in your old battery, no matter how old or weathered it may be.
This will be a limited time offer so don't miss out on it!
