Herts Alliance
This week involved my third Herts Alliance event as a professional. Having turned professional back in September I was eager to get out and play some events. The Herts Alliance is made up of fellow PGA professionals in Hertfordshire playing in 1, 2 & 3 man pro-am events.
This week's event was held at Hanbury Manor Golf Club, I'm pleased to announce that with a score of 88 points the Herts Stag Trophy will be coming back to Harpenden Common!! The round being summed up by a holed out shot for eagle on the short Par-4 7th for 5 points from my amateur team mate! It was a great day and I was proud to be representing HCGC.
The week of good fortune also continued this Friday when I was lucky enough to win a competition on Heart Radio for a trip to New York! It's safe to say I will be buying a Lottery ticket this week! If anyone is interested in playing any future pro-am's then please don't hesitate to ask as there will be plenty of opportunities in the new year.
Foremost Conference
This week Josh and I attended a conference arranged buy our friends at foremost. We learnt some really interesting things and are really looking forward to 2017 with some really fun ideas moving forward. It was held at the MK Dons Stadium with great views of the pitch in each conference room. Stay tuned for exciting times ahead.
Visitor Green Fees
Our visitor green fees at Harpenden Common have now been reduced to £30 which is a reduction of £10 for the winter season, or alternatively come up with a member and only pay £20. Visitors welcome Monday to Friday.
