Ladies v Juniors
The annual Ladies versus Juniors match took place last week during half term. The match was played in great spirit with the juniors taking the Spoils.
However captain's match pictured here includes Dean Hodges, Harry Topping, Gill Taverner and Christine Hutchings was won by the ladies well done to all competitors.
Special Olympics
The last Special Olympics coaching session was last Saturday with everyone having some great fun. We are having a break for the winter now.
However next year we will be hard at work practicing for the national games in Sheffield. In the meantime here is everyone receiving their medals and trophies.
Neil Carlisle
Neil has taken advantage of a few of our offers recently. He wanted to treat himself for a new set of club so he visited the Pro Shop and I showed him all the brands advising him to come for a fitting.
This is the best way to get exactly the correct set for you, then there is no way you can blame your clubs for a bad shot. He had a session with Josh (custom fit expert) to discover which clubs were the best for him. Even though he had it in his mind that he was going to go for PING's his swing suited the Callaway Big Bertha irons instead.
These irons were extremely forgiving and with the correct shaft gained extra distance but more importantly a smaller spread pattern and extreme forgiveness on the off centre strikes. We then decided on the best grip and set make up and once he was happy with the competitive price he placed the order.
He was also interested in an electric trolley. I showed him the difference between the S series and the M series. As he wanted a bag as well there is a half price bag deal on the S3 and the M1 models. He decided on the M3 with the Pro series bag at half price.
Here he is looking forward to trying his new clubs and trolley out. If you are interested in a new set of clubs or a trolley please feel free to come into the shop and discuss the options. I will not be beaten on price for any same product and I will provide a better service than online retailers and American Golf. Why buy anywhere else?
