Millennium Trophy 

A brilliant turnout of 72 players turned up for the Millenium Trophy, 18 teams of 4 played in the Shotgun start event. Scores were excellent on the day but was eventually won with a great score of 88 points 7 clear of 2nd place. 

Congratulations to the winning team of Adrian Turner, Irene St George, Kevin Urwin & Paul Bagnell.

Lomas Cup

Some great scores saw a tightly contested Lomas Cup this year, just 4 shots separating the top 10, as well as the winner being decided on countback. The results can be seen below: 

1st- Ian Farrant - Nett 68 (After Countback) 
2nd- David Marven - Nett 68 
3rd- Andrew Guild - Nett 69 (After Countback) 

Well done Ian! A great score.

Captain Pro 

This Sunday saw the 1st of the Captain Pro Challenges. Rob and Don took on John Coelho and Mark Quamina. 

The victors on this occasion were John and Mark. 

The Captain and Pro will be looking at getting revenge this Sunday. 

 

Special Olympics Coaching 

This week saw the first of our sessions with the Special Olympics team, a great turn out saw 10 adults try golf for the 1st time. 

With continued sessions throughout the year we hope to see a lot more of these smiling faces. 

This is all part of Robs continued support of Disability and Community projects.
