Texas Scramble 

Last Saturday one of the very popular Texas scramble competitions was held. Once again there was a great turnout, thanks to all of those who turned up on the cold morning. Some great scores and fun was had by all. These formats work very well with the combined average of handicaps all being the same. 

Some great scores out there but the winning team consisted of: Frank Cassidy, Steve Saperia, Alan Butler, Tina Wallis with a tremendous score of gross 64.

Scratch Knockout! 

Entries to the scratch Knockout Competition are now open and being taken by Ian Farrant in the bar. The scratch knockout is open to all golfers no matter what handicap. £5 Per Player.

Last week we saw the return of our popular Junior Half term Golf camps. These were run by our new Academy Director George LittleJohn. George and the juniors had lots of fun working on different aspects of the game during the day. Let's hope that they turn into the next Rory McIlroy or Michelle Wie.
