At Harpenden Common Pro Shop we have invested in the new state of the art, photometric measuring devise to help us offer everyone the best custom fitting experience in Hertfordshire. To promote this we have put together the fitting process in the shop for you to see. It is extremely easy and only takes approximately 30 minutes. The fitting cost is usually £20.

New Members Meeting
We introduced some new members with a meeting last week.
This included a brief history of the club and a fun quiz.

Louis Hindle our Junior Captain has just started at the Lee Westwood Academy pictured here.
Louis is second in from the left back row.
This academy is a mixture of golf and academic studies.
There are also a lot of tournaments that they play throughout the year.

Rob Teaching
I have been branching out recently by coaching other disabled schools. Unfortunately I cannot show pictures of the children having great fun but here one of the activities that I set up.
I currently coach at 3 disabled schools in Hertfordshire including an Autistic school and two Schools for the deaf.
The Rob Leonard Junior Golf Academy starts this weekend.
This is a fun packed junior academy not only coaching, they play games and learn life skills around the golf club.

New member of the team - George Littlejohn
My name is George Littlejohn, I'm 21 years old and I am the new teaching Professional here at Harpenden Common. I'm currently in my final year of my PGA foundation degree and I am very enthusiastic about coaching. I started golf at the age of 14 at Mill Green Golf Club and turned professional at the age of 18 off a handicap of 1. I was offered a fantastic opportunity here at Harpenden Common and I can't wait to get started.
I will be offering each section throughout the year some brilliant coaching offers, my first one will be a Weekly Ladies Roll-up Session. I'll be having two start up dates:
Thursday 25th February- 12pm-1pm
Saturday 27th February- 2.30pm-3.30pm
The session will include: a free drink before the session, top quality coaching and a quick debrief in the clubhouse afterwards. All of this for just £10 per session!
I will be putting a sign-up sheet in the ladies changing room and the pro shop for both sessions for anyone that is interested.
I'll be looking forward to meeting new faces and having some good fun at the same time.

Herts Alliance
The Herts Alliance is a Pro-Am with 3 amateurs playing with either Rob Leonard or George Littlejohn. It covers some top courses in Hertfordshire, the format is two best scores from each hole from the team. The day consists of bacon rolls, 18 holes, 2 course dinner and prizes.
